Dear Tracy and Family,
I just wanted to touch base with you about our wonderful "problem child."
You told us that "Marmaduke" (we later named "Merlin") might require a stern voice to calm his wild ways.
I told you that being a Correctional Officer for the State using a stern voice shouldn't be a problem.
After the initial 'break-in period,' "Merlin" has been a real joy to us, although he is forever hindering the movement of my wife Jenny as she moves around the house.
She refers to "Merlin" as 'My Horse' as in "Your horse needs to go outside."
I thank you for providing a service that has brought such joy into our life.
I'm trying at the moment to convince her of the need to adopt another Gentle Dane.
We'll see how it turns out.
Here are a few pictures of 'My Horse.'
Thank you.

Hi Burt, Tracy, and Melody!
I just thought I'd give an update on "Sally" and send some more pictures!
"Sally" just turned 10 months old a few days ago and she's about 97 lbs.
She has no idea of her size and takes up more and more of the bed every night!
We are so happy that we have her in our family!
"Sally" and "Teeny" have really become sisters now.
They love to chase each other around the yard and then curl up together on the couch.
We're hoping to get a brother or sister for them from you guys in about a year.
For now all the pictures on the web site will have to hold me over!
Thank you so much for everything that you all do!

P.S. This picture was taken about 2 months ago. She's grown since then. I'll try to get a more recent one soon!

Hi Burt and Tracy,
We had a very nice visit today with the soon to be newest member of our family, "Diva."
We can't wait to bring her home.
Maragaret has decided that she looks like a "Sabrina."
If you can, please teach her new name.
Burt, if possible, please send us the photos that Tracy took of us with her today.
We have been so happy with "Remi" the first dog we adopted from Gentle Giants.
He is such a joy to have around.
He is very affectionate and we love cuddling up with him on the couch.
He is well behaved and very protective.
We couldn't ask for a better dog.
I hope you like the photos that we sent.
Best regards,
Roy Mader and Margaret Lockhart
